Body scrub treatment
A body scrub removes all dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. After a scrub session, the skin looks radiant and fresh again. At Leiden Spa Massages & Rituals, we use a delicious body shaping scrub/peeling cream by the brand Babor. Babor is a pioneer of professional skincare and uses only pure, natural plant oils and plant extracts.

Body wrap
A body wrap, also known as a body wrap, is the recipe for silky smooth and hydrated skin. You can think of it as a face mask, but for the whole body. Prior to the body wrap treatment, the skin is thoroughly exfoliated to remove dead skin cells. You are then wrapped from head to toe (starting from the neck) in a heat blanket with foil. The heat released opens the pores and the active ingredients of the wrap are absorbed by your body. A body wrap has a detoxifying and nourishing effect, and is also very relaxing.
At our massage practice, you can choose from the following packs:
- Body contour gel based on seaweed and essential oil: good for circulation and skin cleansing.
- Chocolate wrap: the chocolate wrap is a true wellness cure with a cleansing and warming effect. The many antioxidants in cocoa provide a positive boost to the skin. The substance Theobromine in the chocolate gasket causes lipids to bind, meaning that this gasket helps remove unwanted fat.
- Multi algae wrap: the algae wrap removes dead skin cells, stimulates blood circulation and cleanses the skin. Due to its richness in vitamins and minerals, it has a moisturising effect and the algae wrap leaves the skin soft
